Biogas UK 2010

Following successful events in Austria, Belgium, the UK and USA, Green Power Conferences are pleased to announce that the 9th international biogas networking conference will take place in London. Delegates will learn from best practice case studies from government representatives, biogas producers, utilities and biogas users in order to gain a clear understanding of the current policy framework, investment criteria, project start up requirements, plant optimisation and upgrading biogas for injection into national gas grids. The new UK Coalition Government has outlined its plans for a low carbon economy, which presents significant opportunities for the biogas sector. ‘The industry is now set for radical growth – 2 plants built each week over the next 10 years – to meet the UK‘s renewable energy targets’ according to the ADBA. Unlike other events, this conference will focus on practical information about biogas development and operations including sessions on regulation, investment and technical project development skills. The objective is to help biogas developers, farmers, investors and operators obtain hands-on knowledge to ensure not only a successful project but also profitable revenue.
