Slight Decline In Scotland’s Recycling As Waste Generated Increases
Scotland generated 5.5 more waste in 2017 when compared to 2016, according to new figures. Of this waste, 142,195 more tonnes of waste was recycled, yet the increase in waste generated means the country’s recycling rate has decreased 0.2 percentage points from 2016 to 58.9.
