Incineration of Municipal Waste – a short course

Course objectives

To provide an introduction for all those considering the incineration option for the disposal of municipal solid waste. To provide detailed coverage of the incineration process and associated problems for those already involved in incineration.
Specialist lectures on the theory and practice of incineration including combustion, incinerator design and emissions will be coupled with practical experiences of incineration of municipal waste and a review of health effects of waste incineration.
