ISWA World Congress 2012

The ISWA World Congress 2012 is one of the most important moments in the world for those involved in waste management: the Congress involves the participation of about 1,000 delegates from around the world, who will present and discuss new technologies, achievements and problems in a sector becoming increasingly globalized. The speakers will be chosen for their leadership and for their ability to transfer technical, scientific and economic knowledge in their presentations. Around 200 speakers will be present in 32 sessions on various topics. The Congress will be particularly focused on the problems of developing countries and on how to manage waste in a world of global trade; prevention will be an important issue as well as the technology of biological treatment, anaerobic digestion and energy from waste.
