Mission couple finds missing wedding rings in landfill

After losing her wedding rings in the trash, Jeannine Van Ysseldyk and her husband Steve embarked on an unlikely treasure hunt through the heaps of compost at Mission Sanitary Landfill. With the help of excavator operator Denny Webster, the determined couple sifted through mountains of waste until they miraculously recovered the precious diamonds on August 15, 2025.
