National Implementing Entity (NIE)

Under the Adaptation Fund, NIEs are the national legal entities that have been identified by the Adaptation Fund Board as meeting the fiduciary standards adopted by the Board and accredited as NIE. NIEs can access funds directly for implanting climate change projects.
