POLEKO 2002, International Ecological Fair

The scope of the exhibition covered: water management, air protection, waste disposal, noise and vibrations, energy sources, municipal services and technology, consulting and environmental protection institutions, industrial construction and power engineering, specialist publications.
The latest addition to the scope of the POLEKO fair was SCE Salon Czystej Energii (Exhibition of Clean Energy). The exhibition in pavilion 25 featured 20 companies representing the areas of renewable energy sources, economy of energy use and efficient production and use of energy in harmony with the environment. SCE was organised by the Poznan International Fair in co-operation with Abrys Sp. z o.o.
The fair also featured national presentations by such worldwide eco-business leaders as: Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom.
The group presentations included: International Environmental Technology Transfer Centre (ITUT; Germany), Swedish Trade Council (Sweden), the Embassy of the United States, Vendome Development International (V.D.I., France), United Nations Environment Programme (Switzerland), Ukraine.
The programmes of national and group presentations included a number of specialist seminars, presentations and direct meetings introducing co-operation proposals aimed at the Polish market.
