O Paraná dá um passo significativo em busca de se tornar cada vez mais sustentável. O Governo do Estado, por meio da Invest Paraná, firmou convênio com a empresa Mele Biogás, de origem alemã, e com a paranaense Compostec para a instalação de duas usinas para a produção de biometamo em Toledo. A prefeitura da cidade também apoia os projetos que vão transformar dejetos em energia limpa.
