Definition (english only)Waste electrical and electronic equipment or ‘WEEE‘ means electrical or electronic equipment which is waste within the meaning of Article 1(a) of Directive 75/442/EEC, including all components, sub-assemblies and consumables, which are part of the product at the time of discarding .Council Directive 75/442/EEC of 15 July 1975 on waste: ‘waste‘ means any substance or object which the holder disposes of or is required to dispose of pursuant to the provisions of national law in force.
